First off, Happy Thanksgiving to all of my readers in the United States (and abroad, even though this is just a regular Thursday for most of you)!
After building up the anticipation among his Twitter followers for the past week or so, Lupe Fiasco has released his long awaited Friend of the People mixtape for free via Twitter as his way of saying thanks to his fans. As a longtime Lupe Fiasco fan, I’m very excited to listen to this mixtape, even after the somewhat lackluster Lasers released earlier this year. I’ll update this post with impressions later but for now, grab the free download and view the full track list after the break.
